Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes permitted and prohibited uses of BizBaby’s website, applications (including mobile apps), and related services (collectively, the "Services"). This AUP is incorporated into the BizBaby Terms and Conditions. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms.

    1. Scope and Who This Applies To

  1. This AUP applies to all users of the Services, including Businesses, their team members/workers, and end customers who access customer-facing portals. You are responsible for your account and for the actions of anyone using the Services under your account (including your workers and administrators).
  2. 2. Intended Users and Supported Service Categories

  3. BizBaby is designed for businesses providing real-world, in-person services and projects, especially field-service and home-related services. Examples of supported categories include (non-exhaustive):
    1. Home cleaning, housekeeping, and maid services
    2. Landscaping, lawn care, gardening, and irrigation
    3. Plumbing, drain services, and septic services
    4. HVAC and refrigeration services
    5. Electrical services
    6. Handyman and general maintenance
    7. Painting, drywall, and carpentry
    8. Roofing, gutters, siding, and exterior repair
    9. Flooring, tile, and carpet installation
    10. Window washing, pressure washing, and soft washing
    11. Pest control (where legally permitted and properly licensed)
    12. Pool service and maintenance
    13. Appliance repair and installation
    14. Garage door service and repair
    15. Junk removal and light hauling
    16. Moving services (local and residential)
    17. Snow removal and seasonal services
    18. Cleaning and restoration services (e.g., carpet cleaning, water damage mitigation)
    19. Other licensed contractors performing physical services at customer locations
  4. If your business operates in a higher-risk category (for example, locksmith services, towing, emergency services marketing, or industries with elevated fraud rates), BizBaby may require additional verification, impose additional limits, or deny access at our discretion.
  5. 3. Prohibited Uses (All Services)

  6. You may not use the Services to:
    1. Break the law or encourage illegal activity
    2. Engage in fraud, deception, impersonation, or misrepresentation
    3. Harass, threaten, intimidate, or abuse others, or promote hate or violence
    4. Distribute malware, spyware, phishing links, or attempt to compromise accounts or systems
    5. Access or attempt to access accounts, data, or systems without authorization
    6. Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Services in a way that degrades performance or violates our security controls
    7. Bypass or interfere with rate limits, usage limits, access controls, or security features
    8. Use the Services to provide or market unrelated "lead selling" or bulk marketing services to third parties without BizBaby’s written permission
    9. Resell or sublicense the Services as a service bureau without BizBaby’s written permission

    4. Prohibited Industries and High-Risk Activities

  7. BizBaby may suspend or restrict access for businesses or activities that create elevated legal, safety, compliance, fraud, or reputational risk. Examples of prohibited or restricted uses include (non-exhaustive):
    1. Adult sexual content or services; pornography; escorting
    2. Sale or promotion of illegal drugs, controlled substances, or drug paraphernalia
    3. Weapons, firearms, ammunition, explosive materials, or instructions for violence
    4. Counterfeit goods, stolen goods, or services that facilitate fraud
    5. Gambling services or gambling-related promotion (where prohibited)
    6. Payday loans, predatory lending, or deceptive debt relief
    7. Unlicensed medical, clinical, or pharmaceutical services; sale of prescription drugs
    8. Crypto or investment schemes that are misleading or illegal, including get-rich-quick programs
    9. Human trafficking, exploitation, or any content involving minors
    10. Any activity primarily designed to generate spam complaints, chargebacks, or abuse reports
  8. This list is illustrative. BizBaby may update or expand prohibited categories at any time and may rely on rules from carriers, vendors, payment processors, and platform partners.
  9. 5. Website Builder and Hosted Content Rules

  10. If you use BizBaby to build or host websites, landing pages, forms, or other content ("Sites"), you must ensure your Sites and content are lawful and safe. You may not publish or distribute content that BizBaby determines is illegal, harmful, deceptive, or unsafe, including:
    1. Phishing pages, credential harvesting, malware distribution, or deceptive redirects
    2. False or misleading claims about services, pricing, discounts, guarantees, or business identity
    3. Fake reviews, fabricated testimonials, or impersonation of another business
    4. Content that infringes intellectual property or violates privacy rights
    5. Content that promotes hate, violence, harassment, or threats
    6. Content designed primarily for SEO manipulation, link farms, or cloaking
    7. Collection of sensitive personal information without a legitimate purpose and appropriate safeguards (e.g., passwords, SSNs, bank account credentials)
  11. BizBaby may remove, disable, or restrict Sites or content at any time for compliance, safety, security, or legal reasons, including where we receive abuse reports or legal notices.
  12. 6. Communications Acceptable Use (Phone, SMS/MMS, Email)

  13. If you use calling, texting, email, or messaging features, you must comply with all applicable laws and third-party rules, including consent requirements, opt-out handling, Do Not Call rules, CAN-SPAM, TCPA, and carrier/vendor policies. You may not use BizBaby communications for:
    1. Spam or unsolicited marketing without valid consent
    2. Robocalling or auto-dialing in violation of law or vendor policies
    3. Caller ID spoofing or misleading identity, subject lines, or sender information
    4. Phishing, social engineering, or attempts to obtain passwords, payment credentials, or sensitive data
    5. Harassment, hate, threats, or abusive communications
    6. High-complaint traffic patterns (e.g., repeated 'STOP' replies, spam reports, carrier blocks)
  14. BizBaby may enforce usage limits, throttling, filtering, or additional verification to protect deliverability and comply with carrier/vendor rules. We may suspend communications features immediately if we believe your activity risks harm, violates law, or could trigger carrier/vendor enforcement.
  15. 7. Payments and Billing Features (Including Third-Party Processors)

  16. BizBaby may offer invoicing and payment-related features that allow you to request and collect payments from customers (including via customer portals). Payments may be processed by third-party providers (for example, Stripe or other processors). You may not use BizBaby’s payment-related features to:
    1. Process payments for prohibited goods/services or illegal activity
    2. Process payments on behalf of another business (third-party processing) without authorization
    3. Engage in transaction laundering, misrepresent your products/services, or misstate your business category
    4. Create misleading invoices, hidden fees, or deceptive refund/cancellation terms
    5. Facilitate card testing, account takeover, or other fraud
    6. Avoid chargeback responsibility through deceptive practices
  17. You are responsible for customer disputes, refunds, chargebacks, and for complying with payment processor and card network rules. BizBaby may restrict payment-related features if we detect elevated fraud, abnormal chargeback rates, or other risk indicators.
  18. 8. Data Protection, Privacy, and Security

  19. You must handle customer and worker data responsibly and in compliance with applicable privacy and data protection laws. You may not use the Services to:
    1. Collect or store sensitive personal information without legitimate need and appropriate safeguards
    2. Share or sell personal data in ways prohibited by law or our Privacy Policy
    3. Upload content containing viruses, malware, or harmful scripts
    4. Attempt to defeat security controls or compromise data integrity

    9. Monitoring and Enforcement

  20. BizBaby may monitor usage patterns and investigate suspected violations. BizBaby may take any action it deems appropriate to enforce this AUP and protect the Services, including without limitation: warning you, requiring additional verification, limiting features, throttling usage, removing content, disabling Sites, suspending or terminating accounts, and preserving or disclosing information as required by law or to protect BizBaby, our users, vendors, carriers, payment processors, or the public.

  22. To report suspected abuse or violations of this AUP, contact BizBaby at: info@bizbaby.com. If you are reporting a website/content issue, include the relevant URL, screenshots if available, and a short description of the issue.
  23. 11. Updates to This Policy

  24. We may update this AUP from time to time. Changes will be posted with an updated "Last Updated" date, and your continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated AUP. If required by applicable law or as described in the Terms, we will provide additional notice and/or delay effectiveness for material changes.
